A GENTLE DAILY GRATITUDE PRACTICE

Gratitude

Remember what held meaning in an ordinary day

A short daily entry pairs what you felt with what you were grateful for. Once submitted, the day becomes a read-only memory you can revisit from a visual calendar.

What Gratitude includes

  • One honest entry each day
  • A calendar with emotional context
  • Sealed until tomorrow

One honest entry each day

A focused daily flow keeps the practice small enough to return to without turning it into another demanding task.

A calendar with emotional context

Past days use your chosen emotion to make the rhythm of your reflections easier to recognize.

Sealed until tomorrow

Submitting closes that day's reflection, preserving it as an honest record rather than an endlessly edited performance.

How it works

  1. Choose the emotion that best represents your day.
  2. Write what you feel grateful for in your own words.
  3. Save and seal the reflection for that South African calendar day.
  4. Select a past date to revisit the emotion and gratitude you recorded.

Gratitude can coexist with grief, anger, fear or difficulty. The feature does not require a positive mood.

Questions about Gratitude

Do I have to feel positive to use it?

No. You can record the emotion that actually fits the day. Gratitude is presented as a reflection prompt, not a demand to suppress difficult feelings.

Can I change a submitted entry?

The daily reflection is sealed after submission and becomes read-only until a new entry is available the next day.

Is the gratitude journal free?

Yes. Mind.org.im is currently a genuine free service and the gratitude journal is included.

Mind.org.im is a genuine free self-guided wellbeing service provided by Cloud OI (Pty) Ltd and built by Kai Parsons. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical care, crisis intervention or an emergency service.
