Journals
Write the full story in a journal you control
Keep separate journals for different parts of life, start with a thoughtful template or a blank page, and write with a rich editor that stays useful online and offline.
What Journals includes
- Encrypted before it leaves your device
- A journal for each part of life
- Sharing stays specific
Encrypted before it leaves your device
Journal titles, entries and inserted images are encrypted on your device before synchronization.
A journal for each part of life
Use open journals and guided structures for reflection, recovery, emotions, relationships, self-compassion and more.
Sharing stays specific
Keep a journal private, grant a trusted friend view or edit access, or deliberately create a revocable view-only link.
How it works
- Choose a journal type and give the new journal a meaningful name.
- Write rich entries, add images and let automatic saving protect your draft.
- Search across journal names, entry titles and content when you want to return.
- Use access controls only when you deliberately want someone else involved.
New journals begin private. Mind.org.im staff and other members cannot read an encrypted journal unless you explicitly share access.
Questions about Journals
Are journals private by default?
Yes. New journals begin private and encrypted. Sharing with friends or creating a public view-only link requires a deliberate action.
Can I keep more than one journal?
Yes. You can create multiple journals for different purposes and use guided or open formats.
Can I write without an internet connection?
Installed Android and desktop versions keep core journal features available offline and synchronize eligible changes when the connection returns.
